Just two years ago, Arizona needed workers. How long before they decide they need to go easier on illegals again?

This report is not in reference to the recently passed law. This is from 2 years ago. It’s not clear what law they are referencing.
@Starluna, I was confused by the report, because they referenced “in the year since the law took effect” and the law is only a few weeks old. So, what is this in reference to?
There must be plenty of unemployed to take these jobs since the last time i checked the unemployment rate in arizona was about 9%. Unless of course the salaries are lower than the unemployment benefits.
This video was posted on May 01, 2008…
Not too much fact checking done on this one :/
I was wondering why the film was so grainy…normally fresh CNN clips are clear and crisp. Also, that ticker story about Chavez signing the order against that steel company is old news…
On April 9, 2008, Hugo Chavez ordered the nationalization of Venezuelan steel mill Sidor, in which Luxembourg-based Ternium currently holds a 60% stake. Sidor employees and the Government hold a 20% stake respectively
just in case anyone else was wondering.
oops, I guess that’s what I get for posting something in a hurry. I’ll try to be more careful!
Learning that the video was from 2008 really got my attention. Apparently they had an effective law that addressed the tap root of the problem…employers using illegals for cheap labor. It worked so well that their businesses started crying for a BAILOUT. Hey, Arizona Republicans, why not let those businesses fail that can’t survive by paying a decent wage?? There’s a novel thought…
The more I’ve learned about the current law, the more I think it is almost entirely politically motivated. It’s basically just a poke in the eye of that uppity Negro in the White House.
