Bless her heart for not being afraid to call a lie a LIE. However, I think the sad truth is that these guys know that most people don’t care if they’re lying and that most news outlets will not report these as lies or contrast their positions just 3 or 4 short years ago. Hell, they can count on Fox News to lie to provide SUPPORT for their lies. They know they will be re-elected…..it’s the poor suckers telling the truth that will have trouble in the next couple of elections.
It’s hard to maintain respect for the American people when you see crap like this going on!!
Mad Hatter, you may not even know how right you are! I received one of those right wing email forwards that had some blatant lie or another that included a “You can even check the Snopes link here” with a link to the Snopes article that called the claim FALSE. Yes, the email brazenly included a link disproving the email’s claim, because these people know that their intended audience will not take the 30 seconds it takes to search for the truth, or at least for the other side of the story.
It truly is sick. Fox News knows their audience is captive by choice.
You know what I’m thinking Sammy? All those years during the Cold War, we kept hearing about how Communism could destroy our country from within. Guess what….our country IS being destoyed from within but by the Republican party with the help of the Religious Right. I think it started with Reagan then continued with Gingrich and Bush 43.
