I hold many conservative fiscal/economic views. But the clip-editing liar Hannity (who somehow took a statement that aligns with his political view but twisted it to smear Obama anyway), the nutcase Beck, the convicted felon Liddy, the smarmy O’Reilly, the Dittohead-lemming wingnut messiah Rush, the nasally Ingraham, the hateful c*nt Coulter, et al have pushed me farther and farther to the left. They have lost moderates like me to the very people they detest. That, my friend, is irony.
Heard Coulter (a/k/a “The Fanged Toothpick”) tell O’Reilly last night, she thinks the reason we’re so mean-spirited to Palin is that we’re terrified of her. Quite the contrary, IMHO. I think we’re just baiting the GOP into following her and Rush…so that people like Sammy will do exactly as he’s done–be so repelled by their viciousness that even more will come all the way to the Democrat party.
Scott, not so fast. I am no Democrat. I’m an independent all the way. I also detest much of the left wing. I’m an equal opportunity hater. I’m basically cynical about politicians in general. I believe the Democrats are also bought and paid for, but just with a different set of suitors (mostly). They all want to spend our money, just on different things.
