    And here’s the reality check for everyone who thinks this situation begins and ends with Trump: These exact same things are true about George W Bush’s regime. Maybe not all as blatant or extreme, but present and true.

    All the Lincoln Project people who are now aghast at what Trump has done to the GOP were present and supportive cheerleaders of the GOP back then. I’m all for letting them prove they’ve learned their lesson, but the onus is on them to prove it.

    There’s no question in my mind, that until we fully deal with the long term scourges of fascism and racism in the US, we will continue our long national decline to being a failed state.

    While he was listing those 12 positive things, I was even asking when did Trump even do that? He did not accomplish anything other than being an asshole. If he was trying to be facist, he was terrible one. The only thing he accomplished was let common jackasses to be proud to be jackasses since they have a president who is like them.

    As a conservative, the only positive I can take from his pathetic 4 years is Neil Gorsuch. Kavanaugh is meh, don’t know enough about ACB, other than she spread covid pretty. much everywhere.

    There is a Guardian article from Russia influence that started forty years ago. They found now ex president was gullible and started grooming him with flattery; especially on his trip to Moscow. They wanted someone who they could con and who wasn’t very bright. No wonder Jerad wanted the direct telephone line to Moscow. They said it goes way beyond the Mueller report.
