Donald Trump keeps attacking his own Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, complaining that Sessions should not have recused himself from investigating Russia and that Sessions should be spending more time prosecuting Hilary Clinton. I guess Trump is admitting that he somehow didn’t appoint the best people (except that nothing is ever Trump’s fault).
Why? We found out yesterday when Trump suggested that he is thinking about replacing Sessions with Rudy “911” Giuliani, the former mayor of NYC. Despite being an ardent supporter of Trump, I guess Sessions wasn’t enough of a toady for Trump, and Giuliani definitely fits that bill.
If Trump does this, nobody doubts that Giuliani would follow an order from Trump to fire special counsel Robert Mueller.
If Trump starts replacing his cabinet with enablers, then I suppose we can look forward to Chris Christie and Newt Gingrich taking jobs in the Trump administration. The only question is which jobs would be best for kissing Trump’s ass?
I guess at least Trump would be winning.

Writing this from a complete state of “I’m not sure I even give a crap any longer”, I think I heard this morning that Giuliani said that Sessions was correct in recusing himself. That might make him ineligible for the Ass Kissing Brigade and lord knows there plenty of space on that ass for kissing since he has the best ass and the most perfect ass, the most bigly ass, and so on.

Rather than tweet about Sessions’inaction, surely he should just pick up the phone and order Sessions to get started?
You are trying to apply logic to Trump. Hah. As others have pointed out, it was Trump who decided not to go after Clinton after the election. Besides, the Republicans have already gone after her and found nothing.
Trump is probably trying to disparage Sessions so that he can get rid of him, and find someone who will fire Mueller.
Trump is the master of changing the subject. Toss out enough crap and some will stick and take focus off the stuff that he finds really annoying, and really doesn’t want discussed. Everyone who attends any event where he is talking should have those little things that make a sound like a raspberry and then blow them all at the same time to drown him out when he spouts nonsense. Or they could all just started laughing loudly and not stop until he stops. I would pay to see that and his reaction.

Look at this week — Trump Jr, Manafort, and Kushner are testifying about collusion with Russia, and out of the blue Trump bans transgendered people from the military. Suddenly, the top headlines everywhere are about the transgender ban.
I’m sure if/when Trump gets around to firing Sessions, he will do the same thing.
