I just have one question. For people who believe human life begins at conception, do they also believe a fetus should only be allowed to enter a public bathroom of the correct sex?

Not to speak of parents with young children of the opposite sex. I thought every state allowed the parent to take a child to the bathroom regardless of sex.
And an opposite-gender person can assist a handicapped individual.
According to the Bible, life begins at birth, not conception.

Good thing this “crap” didn’t happen when my MIL was still alive. She had dementia and my husband had to take her to the bathroom when they were out and no one ever said anything to him that was rude. This was long before there were some places that had separate “Family/Handicap” restrooms. I still don’t see enough of those. I was never totally comfortable taking my son to the women’s restroom, but there was no way he was going alone into the men’s.
The Republican Motto: We fight like hell to get you born. After that you’re on your own.
The problem is the discourse. Our bi-Polar society has become so intolerant of any opinion that does not conform to the gang (Dems and Reps) they belong to, that all hope of resolution is lost. Since when is attempting to shame the person you disagree with acceptable. Both gangs do it, incessantly.
I ran across this commencement speech by Michael Bloomberg and thought it was spot on concerning our current political wars.

While we shouldn’t overlook vitriolic discourse as a problem, I think a far bigger issue is the prevalence of really terrible ideas and, to an extent, the fact that these terrible ideas aren’t shot down more effectively by those (like the media) who are supposed to inform their viewers/readers/listeners.
Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion. But we need to stop allowing things that are flatly wrong (i.e. policy positions directly contradicted by science) to lower what is factual to the same muddy level of opinion. Treating someone politely doesn’t make their idea any less stupid, wrong, or potentially dangerous.
Fortunately, fetuses don’t need to pee; their mother does it for them. It will still be funny to see all those macho dads bringing their son to the bathroom, changing their diaper, discover that the changing tables are all in the women’s bathrooms, etc.
