How the conservatives are welcoming Pope Francis to America:
I don’t think conservatives are the least bit concerned about Christianity. Their religion is money and greed.
My favorite line is when they attack the Pope for being “anti trickle-down economics”. O-M-G!

At some point, Christians supporting the GOP need to come to terms with one simple fact: For 50 years now, their party has shaped them to focus exclusively on abortion so as to enable millionaires and billionaires to push a radical economic agenda that is fundamentally at odds with the teachings of Jesus.

Well, what else would you expect of someone from a continent that not only stole our name, it doesn’t even speak English? This only proves Fox’s claim about the War on Christianity. All fair (skinned) and ballast Christians now realize this war won’t end until we get this lilly livered Marxist socialist tree huggin’ thorn in Jesus’ side ousted and elect (or install if need be) a bourgeois, bling-lovin’, rootin-tootin gun-totin’, plutocratic, trickle down, f*ck-the-poor and bomb Iran real deal Pope. Just like God intended.
Yeah, it probably won’t end then either because, you know, ratings. Did I mention Benghazi?

What? The College of Cardinals elected Obama? Or the American Electoral College elected the pope?
Yikes!
Know what? The “journalists” attacking the pope for being too political are probably too political. That, or they aren’t really journalists but political tools… doing exactly the same thing they’re accusing the pope of doing, except the pope’s job doesn’t depend on what he says in public.

Let’s see… if I was interested in having the moral approval of another person, who would it be? Pope Francis or Rush Limbaugh? Pope Francis or Glenn Beck? Pope Francis or… ?
If I was interested in getting sound advice from an expert on anything at all, from the economy to global warming, would Pope Francis be any LESS likely to have honest and knowledgeable advisors than any of the talking heads attacking him?
Except maybe for Mike Huckabee.
Just kidding about The Huckster.
