Earlier today, Political Irony passed 1 million pages viewed. Thank you readers! What originally started as a project to help keep me sane during this election has succeeded beyond my wildest dreams. Whether my sanity remains intact remains to be seen.
Some of you may have noticed some improvements to the blog. You can now be notified via twitter when new posts appear. How did you ever live without that?
Also, on the individual pages for each post, you now get a short list of related posts (in addition to the comments, etc.). I only just installed this a few days ago, but already the number of pages viewed per visitor (that’s you) has risen to the highest it has ever been.
And finally, the feature you have all been waiting for (at least you iPhone users), I have added a web clip icon to the blog, so you can put an icon for Political Irony into the home screen of your iPhone. Just set a bookmark to politicalirony.com from Safari on your iPhone and pick “Add to Home Screen”.
I’m also starting to think about whether or not this blog should go on after the election. If it does, I’m going to need some help. If you’re interested in becoming a submitter to this blog, head on over to the Submit item page for more information.
