Is it my imagination, or is Jon Stewart actually getting angry about the media noise machine? If so, I love it. Because if we are indeed watching the decline and fall of America, I don’t want it to end with a whimper.

It’s a great clip — and I hope it means that Stewart is finally getting beyond his sincere belief in the false equivalency of the media, as expressed in his speech at the big rally he and Colbert held a few years back. MSNBC is by no means the equivalent of Fox, and there is no nationwide network of extreme-left-wing radio talk shows.
So… The problem Congress has with Obama is that, Obama is going ahead and doing what Congress wants him to do without formally asking their permission… and they cannot preemptively tell the president, at least by passing a resolution, what they want him to do?
Yikes.
