So, is Perry just the latest flash in the pan, brought on by a not-too-stellar line up of candidates, or will he burn out once people actually listen to what he is saying?

Or perhaps he’ll be our next president, given that there are so many Americans who will only trust a leader who is ‘anti-intellectually correct’.
Haven’t we experienced enough during 2000-2008 from a fundamentalist Texas governor? I am SO tired of hearing about what’s good for me from a politician who changes his views as he’s speaking.
A friend of mine commented that Rick Perry is the perfect candidate for people who couldn’t tolerate the intellectual elitism of George W. Bush.
Oh RK, that’s hilarious!!! ‘>D
In my opinion, we haven’t seen the individual who will eventually be nominated for president by the Grand Olde Patricians declare that they are running, although there are some lovely candidates out there right now. That’s lovely in the British sense, not the American sense.
