I have nothing to add to this. When did we all in America become so stupid?

If all those unwanted babies are born, we will lose this planet. End of human beings.
We’re already doomed. Don’t expect anything to counter global warming. Rich people still travel by jet to meet in person. What country will be the first to ground its Air Force?
When? Around 1980 when we elected a grade b movie star to the presidency.
My sister and I sat on her bed at age 16 & 18 and talked for an hour about saving the planet. She will turn 80 next month. We talked about bikes. We talked about trains. If I made a list of the things I don’t use, you would be horrified. Some are TV since I was 19, Others are washing machine, dryer, paper towels. (My grandson wanted something to blow his nose on. I got out an unopened box of tissue. I’ve got to get him some handkerchiefs that he can use, soak in bleach, hang to dry. reusing the bleach water.) And the toilet paper run at the start of the pandemic, why? No old clothes or towels to rip up, soak in bleach, hang to dry? So what if they are stained. Bleach works on it after awhile. They are sterile. Kitty litter “Bed pads and cotton shop wipes” Again soaked in bleach and hung to dry. All my wash is in tubs, no electricity except to pump the cold water out of the earth. And know. And you won’t believe until you try it, but wash in tubs, with a plunger for 3 1/2 minutes, rinse for half that time. Start the next load in the same dirty water Is cleaner than a Wringer washer and much much cleaner than an automatic. Automatics give the dirtiest “wash”. That is called “thinking time” when you do your wash and hang it. I know you are horrified. I am shortly going out in this beautiful weather to do curtains, wool blankets, and the bed pads, etc for the cats. Separate loads of course. Problem is the dumped water makes the grass grow so fast I have to mow it more with my electric mower.
