My absentee ballot is sitting here until early voting starts on Saturday We have never had early voting. I’m driving my vote to the election commissions 20 miles. I’m not putting it in any mailbox. I’ll wear so much protection, they will think it is Halloween.
I voted at the county courthouse on the third day voting was allowed.
I voted several weeks ago, for the first time by mail. There was a tracker and it took almost two weeks for the tracker to register arrival. I live in a blue area within a red state, so I feel pretty safe that the votes will be counted correctly here. One of the things on the ballot was about redistricting rules. We passed something previously about doing redistricting with a pretty good majority. But the powers that be in the state capitol did not like the way the vote went and put it up for voting again this time around. They said we didn’t understand the implications of how we voted. Yes, we poor stupid Dems did not understand what we voted for. I’m hoping that bill fails spectacularly. With proper redistricting, this state could become purple or even better, blue.
