I hope everyone notes that Hope Hicks was showing symptoms of Covid-19 and was diagnosed Wednesday night. She had been in frequent close contact with Donald Trump. But did Trump quarantine himself?
I’ll give you one guess. According to WaPo, on Thursday “Trump and his entourage flew to New Jersey, where he attended a fundraiser and delivered a speech. Trump was in close contact with dozens of other people, including campaign supporters at a roundtable event.”
Trump knew he was strongly exposed to someone who is definitely contagious. And yet he still went around exposing dozens of other people at campaign events. Trump must be extremely desperate to raise money for his campaign.
The people who I don’t understand at all are those Trump supporters who attended his events today even after the news broke that he was exposed.
Just call it evolution in action.
And why did it take from Wednesday night until Friday morning for Trump to announce test results that showed that both he and his wife were infected? I know people who got test results back much faster than that.
UPDATE: Doesn’t that sound suspicious? Either he knew earlier and didn’t care if he spread disease and death to his followers, or else he doesn’t actually have Covid-19 (OMG he lied! Who would think he would do that?). Maybe he realized that he totally screwed up the debate and needed an excuse to avoid doing additional ones.
Or maybe this is just one more example of Trump doing a crazy thing to get attention, so he can push the bad news about the debate, the Supreme Court (he surely hated that two women — RBG and then Amy Coney Barrett — were getting more attention than him), plus (and most important) the release of his taxes.

Yes, it’s unfortunately not very surprising that Trump continued to travel even though he knew he may of been exposed to the virus. Trump could certainly be a super-spreader. I am sorry, since Trump announced it, I do not believe for a moment that Trump has tested positive for Covid. This is done to do following:
1. Avoid debates
2. Show recovery, brag about his own genes
3. Show virus is not lethal, vote in person
White House says Trump has mild symptoms, once he recovers (either real or fake), get ready for his bragging.
If he does have it it could be very good for the country. He may not be in a position to contest the election. Furthermore the alt right may not bother to come to arms in his support.
As to the comment “evolution in action”. We have a phrase we use: “Darwin got them.”
Trumpf will also have, and receive, every available treatment before his symptoms are bad. This frightens me because all his minions will take that as proof Covid-19 is no big deal. In the meantime people, like my step daughter, are at home sick with children, which are not allowed in school for 14 days, and no daycare (Father refuses to help) when she recovers, IF she doesn’t require hospitalization.

I can’t find it in the morass of links today has generated but there were reports they knew about Hicks’ long before they announced and were only forced to do so by Bloomberg and that these two knew by Wednesday.
So basically, bake in 2-3 days of ass-covering / lying and you’ve got your timeline.
As someone pointed out on PW, Trump is not tweeting. Could he possibly work that into his act if it was an act? He is so addicted. Or did he start tweeting later in the day, Friday?
