I know it has been a while, but I just wanted to give a heads up that I might resume posting a bit before the midterm elections.
As I’ve said before, I’m not really upset at Donald Trump. I mean, he is who he is and he doesn’t even hide the fact that he is a racist who only cares about himself. What bothers me are the one-third of Americans who continue to support him no matter what happens.
If his supporters were around 15% or less, I wouldn’t care. Traditionally almost anyone can find that many Americans to support them, no matter how crazy they are.
My question is, what will it take for ardent Trump supporters to stop supporting him? What would he have to do or say that would turn the people who continue to believe that Donald Trump is a great president to turn against him? For example, would they have to stop watching media Fox News? If Fox turned against Trump, would that be enough?

It’s very probable that the reactionary base believes whatever Fox tells them to believe, so branding Trump a traitor who conned the US into supporting him, and is ruining lives for the good folk of America, would probably result in under a week of chaos, lots of calls to congress to get rid of him, and likely a quick execution of the 25th Amendment so the ugly details of the political machine don’t have a chance to be exposed – potentially followed by a set of indictments that focus on campaign finance violations and Trump’s personal shenanigans.
My big question is: why has an obviously compliment party allowed this to happen and actively protect the perps? Glad to hear you might be back!

Welcome back IK! As usual I will take the contrarian side of the argument beginning with “Trump is a racist”. Besides being a far left overused staple of “we want to shut the conversation down immediately”’it is absolutely false.
Webster’s defines racism as:
Definition of racism
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.
Now here is the shocking part of the rebuttal, your 1/3 estimate is way short of reality.
This has a direct correlation to my first point about your racism claim. Let me explain.
My oldest son, a product of a “progressive education who has a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from a liberal school told me this story. There are progressive groups the regularly hold protests on/near the school campus where he works doing cutting edge medical research. He approached on of these groups to ask what they were protesting about. Instead of engaging my borderline genius son they began shouting RACIST, RASCIST and screaming and spitting at him. So he left.
This is the reason all the polls got it wrong in 2016. The left doesn’t want a conversation the want people to do as they say or go away. They’re right, everybody else is wrong. The problem is that the other 50% of the nation doesn’t agree. But rather then getting screamed at, spit on and called a Racist, they just shake their heads, shut up and go vote.
So I’d say that 33% do support the president no matter what. But another 20% support his policies and believe he is spot on with challenging the status quo of terrible trade deals, trying to appease NK, China and other groups who prosper from unfree trade, and over regulation.
So until the progressives drop their own “hate” speech, I suggest you get used to President Trump fo at least the next 6 years.
While the usual demagoguery of the left continues. Black unemployment has never been lower, black small business ownership is up over 400%, youth unemployment has hit a 52 year low, and the Atlanta Federal Reserve has forecast 4.6% GDP. ( remember when the left darling economist and the liberal media laughed when Trump predicted 3% GDP and said his policies would lead to another recession?
So all this combined shows the left has learned nothing. They should drop the failed identity politics and instead pursue policy that will further enhance America’s greatness!
BTW, following the meltdown of the far left after the last election, I switched from Dem to Independant. I don’t like the Republicans either, their afraid of their own shadow. I like some Dem and some Rep. members.
I’d also like to take this moment to pay my respects to a fellow veteran John McCain, a great American hero and champion of the country. Despite Obama and Trumps put downs of his service.

Regarding your question since I last posted I have now become an ardent Trump supporter. Why? Because of my bank balance that’s why!
I dont care if most of his “summits” are for show (With kimmy) or for collusion (with vlad). I don’t care that his tax policies are burgeoning the national debt. I only care that it benefits me and besides when the shit hits then fan (hopefully not before another 50-60 years) I would be gone and would have enjoyed my spoils.
I don’t care he’s uncouth and disrespectful to ex military members and publicly advocates bending laws to benefit republicans. He’s making sure 1-5 year old illegal hateful immigrants dont sneak up on me and strangle me in my sleep. I just want civilized people migrating to my country. People from countries like sweden and norway. I’m not sure why I picked those particular countries but I like the people from there!
I dont care he spends millions on his regular golfing trips because cutting down millions from big government. Its possible that there could be more natural calamities like hurricanes and oil spills but hey you cant make an omelette without breaking eggs. With my increased wealth i can probably buy a house in New Zealand far from the maddening crowd.
I dont care he’s inciting violence against the media. Those guys are overrated and its not his job to keep them safe. They just need to watch what they are writing. Why cant they write about how great the tax cuts are?
I’m now Trump forever because he’s saying he’s fighting the tough trade wars. It makes sense to start a trade war with everyone at the same time because MAGA! And hes good friends with Lil Kim now. HE calls him chairman and all and obviously that has to mean that North Korea will never ever launch a missile again. Its been 9 months since the last one. With Obama the longest there wasnt a missile was 3 years. hmm thats more than 9 months but thats not the point.
Anyway Trumps my man. I’ll use my wealth to buy a bunker, order everything from Amazon directly to the bunker and never have to see people again.
I forgot to add. I also don’t care about this meaningless DOJ investigation into him and his campaign. Its a WITCH HUNT, even though about 35 people have been indicted or plead guilty including russians. Its an illegal investigation against an innocent guy. Now Benghazi, thats a proper investigation. took 2 years and im sure countless people were criticized. And if this illegal investigation were to be shut down everything would be fine. There are no other ongoing investigations into campain violations etc.
