This comic could contain so many additional panels. Like, what about Trump’s tweets claiming that vaccines cause autism, which encourages parents to not vaccinate their children? Or his denial of climate change, which threatens all children’s futures?

“Out of sight, out of mind” has never been more relevant than with this President, who appears to set and re-set policy on a near daily basis by what he sees on Fox & Friends or his twitter feed.
Here’s another panel Sorensen might have added – kids killed by guns. Whether getting caught in the crossfire between rival gangs or random crime, or self-inflicted playing with daddy’s or mommy’s unsecured Glock, a recent study by the AP and USA Today found that, on average, a minor is killed every other day in this country from gun accidents, one-third more than federal statistics would have us think.

Just last Monday, a 4-year old girl narrowly escaped adding to those statistics while sitting in a barber shop as two bullets whizzed by her head, as seen on surveillance video. Besides the long-term trauma a near miss like this must bring, it’s even more tragic to imagine all the kids who don’t escape.

But we have this Second Amendment here so, you know, Freedom.
Round up for “weed control” is a carcinogen. Every time one puts it on something, children can be contaminated. Roundup is banned in Europe. PUt on fields here to contaminate our streams and food products and children.
A mother cat showed up in 2004, got in my trap, got spayed that day and put back with her kittens (she went up a ladder in a barn to return to them. Years went by, she became tame enough I could catch her again to bring in the house. Years went by as a beautiful loving sweet cat. 2014, she got sick. Solid cancer from the fields.
