The Drudge Report has been spreading rumors that Bill Clinton had an illegitimate child with an Arkansas prostitute. But they should have checked their own publication first. Way back in 1999, they were the publication that broke the news that a paternity test on the alleged child had turned up negative.
This would not be the first time that Trump or his supporters just threw crap out there, hoping something would stick. Like Trump himself insinuating that Ted Cruz’s father was involved in the assassination of JFK, or that Hillary Clinton was dying from some kind of brain disease.
What’s worrisome is that there are a growing number of people who believe utter crap like this. Like the people who still believe that Obama is Muslim, that Michelle Obama is a man, and that the first couple kidnapped their children from another family. Trump seems to bringing stupidity and character assassination to the mainstream.

The last one I heard was that Clinton was continually stealing from poor donors by taking small amounts each month from their accounts without their knowledge. This was an in-law relative, (I don’t even know how she is related). This was about 4 days ago. I asked her for her source. Told her that Trump was a child molester and that I would have an easier time proving that, than she would have proving her statement about Clinton. Never did get a response. The misnamed conservatives have been slinging mud at the Clintons for a very long time and Trump and his minions have just upped the game to a more childishly, and often sleazy level.
Maybe Flint Michigan isn’t the only one with problems of Lead in their water. We do have an issue of intelligence these days, that or people are willing to believe any ole’ crap that substantiates their perspective and not haveing to admit to possibly being Wrong.
Lead in the water may have been ironic, but there is a grain of truth in it. Truly ironic, Rome fell because of lead water pipes, and the only people who could afford them were the upper levels of society.
Pat, history has a way of repeating itself. It is a shame that we never learn from history. Even what history that is taught has more emphasis given to when what happened rather than what can we learn from it.
Donald Trump who? Never heard of the guy.
Dave, I’m with you on this. It just astounds me that people who are in charge can’t recognize that we’ve been there before and if it didn’t work then, it’s unlikely to work now. Lead in the water everywhere, Nestle’s “There is no human right to water”, and so many other things — so short sighted for us as a nation!
