I still miss The Daily Show. Period! I shall never forgive Jon Stewart for abandoning us in our hour of severe comic needfulness. Colbert filling in there admirably, but still…
BTW, Aasif Mandvi has a supporting role in HBO’s The Brink, a comedy series about clueless diplomats, international hijinx and other dysfunctional Americana, with Jack Black and Tim Robbins. Season 1 in the can and the second one coming up this Fall I think. Highly recommended.

This is funny, but maybe too true?
Thanks for the heads up Ralph. We dropped cable TV a couple of weeks ago and I’m still experimenting with Roku. I’ve had it for some time, but used it infrequently. Now it’s all I’ve got. Aasif was one of my favorites. And the best one, for me was the Third World Healthcare bit where they are in plane going to help those with no doctors and end up in Knoxville, TN. I miss the old Daily Show and I miss many of those involved.
