Liberal or Conservative?

Here’s an interesting website. You type in the name of a town (any town in the US, like your hometown) and they will tell you (based on political donations made by people who live there), how liberal or conservative it is. The scale goes from +10L for liberal, to zero, to +10C for conservative.

Can you guess where the most liberal and conservative cities are located?

Huh. I’d figured my hometown in NH would dip to the right, but in classing NH fashion it’s about as purple as you can get, 0.1L.

What’s odd is that I live in a city in St. Louis County, but St. Louis City does not make their list. St. Charles, and St. Peters, just across the Missouri River and fairly large communities don’t make the list. Belleville,IL, just across the Mississippi makes the list.

I didn’t need this to know that I’m surrounded by Republicans. It’s obvious every election cycle, but it was interesting to see where on the scale we fit.

This website has much more complete data, at least as far as registration goes… http://www.bestplaces.net/compare-cities/

Both my hometown and the city I live in now, both with populations over 40,000, are included.
