I don’t get it. The Chicken Hawks seem to be claiming that the only way to avoid war with Iran is to go to war against them. Isn’t this the same logic that got us into trouble with Iraq and other countries?
As the book said, “War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength”.
UPDATE: A new poll shows that more Jewish Americans support the Iran nuclear deal than oppose it (48% to 28%) with 54% of Jews saying that Congress should approve the deal. Interestingly, support for the deal is higher among Jews (48%) than among the general populace (28%). Has anyone done a study to see if Jewish Americans are less likely to watch Fox News?

I give Obama a lot of credit, it would certainly have been easier to say “screw it, let the next President deal with it…and take the blame for whatever happens.” He manned up did the right thing, even though he’ll get nothing but grief for it.
The simple fact of the matter is that, peace is bad for business.
IF the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council was serious about world peace and IF every nation on the council had the courage of their pretended convictions, then it would be a relatively simple thing to pass a resolution to the effect of, “Any nation found moving ANY type of weaponry to another nation will face an economic blockade supported by all five permanent members and any friends the five of us can also convince to support world peace. The status quo will have to stand until things can be changed without resorting to mass bloodshed.”
I know… a silly and unworkable concept. But we, the United States, could begin the process by acting unilaterally to take this action on our own.
Redefine “terrorist state” as ANY state that supplies weapons to another state for ANY reason. Self defense, my butt. This could easily be enforced if we CHOSE to enforce it, especially if Russia and China and Europe and the handful of Western-leaning Middle Eastern countries were on board and if they knew we were serious.
The Jewish have kept themselves insular over the thousands of years; hence they established their own race. All I’ve met seem very intelligent.
If the US would stop supplying weapons to other countries, that would be a big cost savings in our Defense Dept. and Foreign “Aid” budgets. Of course, our defense companies lobbyists would never let that happen.
