I loved the Key and Peele skit from a few years ago, but here’s a new version, this time starring the real Obama:

It gets off to a slow start, but I loved the ending, so watch the whole thing. And if you never watched the original, click the link above.

I found most of the event very funny, Obama was good, and so was the SNL lady (forgot her name).

I started following this, when Colbert toasted Bush. That was forever best skit.

@Hassan: absolutely. The above is funny but my goodness you’ll never see something as incredible as the Bush roast courtesy of Colbert. I hate to think of the consequences for whoever booked him for that dinner. Probably blacklisted by the Bush Administration.

    ThatGuy — from Wikipedia:

American comedian Stephen Colbert was the featured entertainer at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, held at the Hilton Washington hotel in Washington, D.C. on April 29, 2006. He was invited to speak by Mark Smith, the outgoing president of the White House Press Corps Association. Smith later told reporters that he had not seen much of Colbert’s work. Since 1983, the event has featured well-known stand-up comics. Previous performances included President Gerald Ford and Chevy Chase making fun of Ford’s alleged clumsiness in 1975, and Ronald Reagan and Rich Little performing together in 1981.

Obama was really funny, funnier than the comedian.

He didn’t hold back, even zinging Cheney.

I think they thought Colbert to be genuine conservative, as his Colbert Report started recently at that point.

That comment was spam. I deleted it. But youtu.be is a valid domain. Google uses it as a shorter version of youtube.com
