Can you tell if this comic is set in Fallujah or Ferguson?
Believe it or not, this comic is actually from 2004, and was depicting a war zone. I guess we brought the war home.

Over that past few years we’ve seen more and more interference with the press on the part of organizations and politicians – especially politicians. More than once here in beautiful Siskiyou County, “public” meetings of politicians have been closed to the local press or held in a venue such that it can be called “private,” thereby granting the host the prerogative of banning the press.
As I recall (gee, was it that long ago?) that the press was hassled by law enforcement during Occupy Wall Street, too.
Ironic that the cartoon still makes sense if you label the cameraman as Faux News, the guy on the floor as Federal officials and the guy in the middle as Cliven Bundy shouting “Shoot” towards both of them.

Militarized police target unarmed protestors in Ferguson.
Militarized protesters target federal officials in Nevada.
Faux News sides with the militarized ones in both cases. They may always be wrong but Fox is consistent.
David, that article from BradBlog is awesome. Thanks for the link.

Another good article about Ferguson. Including a literally blow-by-blow report of what happened.
