IIUC, it was some shareholders, not AIG itself, that initiated the lawsuit? Are Greenberg et al. pushing ahead with their lawsuit?

I’m persuaded that these plaintiffs were aggregated by trolling attorneys.
maybe AIG should go somewhere else and re-finance their loan. I’m am sure one of those payday or car title loan outfits will accommodate them to their satisfaction (or take them to the cleaners). Maybe gold for cash will work with ’em.
That should teach us about bailing those types of bastards out, but it probably won’t. 🙁
