Just a quick note about a really good article in Rolling Stone about the math of climate change. Don’t let the word “math” in the title scare you — this is a really easy to understand explanation of what is happening. And what we need to do about it — before it is too late.
I like their suggestion, which is similar to how pressure was applied to South Africa to end Apartheid. It just could work. Go read the article now.
Ironically, a freaking music magazine has turned into one of the best sources of clear information about politics and the important issues of the day.

Iron Knee is a gun nut…I’m convinced!

Silence speaks volumes.
Yeah, IK, I’m confused, too. I wonder if RR just commented on the wrong post…
Completely irrelevant, untrue and pointless posts can be removed IK 🙂
My right-wing father-in-law got me a subscription to Golf Digest for christmas a few years back, and renews it every year. I don’t play golf, and have no interest in it.
So a couple of years back I got him a subscription to Rolling Stone, under the premise that he doesn’t like rock-n-roll and has no interest in it.
Secretly, I love the political articles by Matthew Tabbi and others in RS: investigative journalism that exposes the ridiculousness in US politics for what it so often is – rooted in corruption and partisanship.
Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s sinking in with him. Probably goes straight into his garbage can while my Golf Digest goes in the recycle bin. Sigh.
