And this doesn’t even include the fact that the Affordable Care Act was pretty much their idea in the first place.

This one thing should tip the balance in favor of ACA and yet the “death panels” even debunked over and over get the headlines. I have been the dad in the hospital where my insurance was covering my son, they saved his life twice, and right next to him was a poor kid with no insurance and a family working two or three jobs so they couldn’t even be with him in the hospital for more than a few minutes each day. I saw the $5.00 Aspirins on my son’s chart and learned for the first time how the system really works. I have been “Universal Health Care” ever since and my head wants to explode when I hear some pol say we have the “best health care system in the world” Arrrrggggg!
If i remember correctly, one of scalia’s arguments for removing the mandate was that perhaps the uninsured shouldn’t be getting healthcare in the emergency room in the first place. I don’t know whether the press addressed this at all. What exactly does he propose as an alternative?
