Not an illusion of choice. No TV. Never heard of most of those. Never watched any. I did get the last 90 seconds of the SuperBowl on the computer so I might have watched NFL.
APnews isn’t mentioned there, nor is Christian Science Monitor. Two, hopefully, unbiased news sources.
Reminds me of The Pentavirate. But at least THAT was funny.
And how many individual controllers of information exist online? Countless.
You can watch television and have your pick of the six, or you can get on the Internet.
Ah, yes, the old wisdom of the crowds argument. Because we know that the Internet has a reputation for calm, polite, reasoned discourse. And, yes, I do realize the irony of making that point on a web site. I felt it only appropriate. 🙂
