Mitt Romney gave a speech at a shuttered Gypsum plant in Ohio yesterday, using it as a backdrop to claim that Obama has failed to create jobs.
There are just a couple of problems. First of all, the plant was closed four years ago, before Obama was elected. And second, when Obama was sworn in, unemployment in Ohio stood at 8.6%. It peaked at 10.6% during the second half of 2009, but it now dropped to 7.6% as of February.
Reality doesn’t seem to matter any more.

Any chance the jobs were shipped to China?
Facts, facts, facts! Come onnn. Use the “this wasn’t meant as actual INFORMATION, only illustration” tactic. Worked for the clown with his “90% of Planned Parenthood money goes for abortions” dreck, why not here, too?
When will the left stop blaming Bush for things that happened while Bush was in office and start blaming Obama for things that happened while Bush was in office?
Then we can finally all be on the same page.
Why stop with the past? I think we should start blaming Romney for things. Doesn’t even matter if he loses, it must be his fault anyway.
Watch out folks, Romney is considering J.E.B.for Vice President.
Reality being, that the newly unemployed are being denied entry onto the unemployment rolls – coincidently, that leaves them without the funds they’ve been paying into unemployment *insurance* since the first day they began work.
Reality being, that once you’ve used up your unemployment, and drop off the roll, you’re no longer counted as unemployed… and yet somehow you *are* still unemployed.
Work 15 hours a week, for minimum wage? You don’t show up as unemployed, but you can’t support yourself — and you cant quit and collect unemployment, either. Mostly because people WANT to work… and then, getting unemployment is getting more and more difficult.
Facts, damn facts, and statistics.
