   On first read, I thought the cups said coda which struck me as particularly clever. The republicans are sipping the kool-aid from the concluding passage of the conservative movement (coda is the concluding passage of a movement in music).

   Later I realized that the bottom of the S in Soda was cut off by the frame of the cartoon. Sometimes I can’t see the obvious for the subtleties.
