And they aren’t even a real news organization, they are a freakin comedy show.

Don’t forget Christine Todd Whitman lying and saying that the air was healthy to breath at Ground Zero.
What’s the use. If Fox News felt the need to rebut this program (which I’m sure they don’t) they could find 8 or even 80 similar NY policemen, firemen, other first responders that would go on their shows to denounce these 4 guys as typical of the left wing liberals looking for a government hand out.
Unless those of us that are of a progressive, secular bent are willing to go to the streets and spill a little blood, we’re going to lose this country to the 50 – 60% tht will continue to believe that the HCR bill was a “government take over of health care” and any other bullshit that the Republicans and Tea Party want them to believe.
Jesus. I’m in tears.
Stewart for president
Stewart, yes. At least we could laugh at whatever happens.
I noticed the San Francisco Chronicle had a very strong editorial chiding those that are blocking the bill.
As to spilling blood, Mad Hatter, I’m hoping you mean in the spirit of non-violent civil disobedience.
It is sad that a comedic fake news show delivers better news than the actual news programs> This bill, which is even funded from closing a corporate tax loophole, should be passed by both houses of Congress unanimously – and yet the House Republicans voted almost unanimously to block it because “it’s an entitlement”.
How hypocritical can you be? Republicans love to take credit as the primary defenders of our military because they “put themselves in harms way to protect the rest of us.” And yet, they block giving common sense compensation to the firefighters, police officers, and all the other public servants that are out there every day protecting us and saving lives?
I won’t even mention that if we had working justice and health care systems this wouldn’t even need a special bill to address – oh wait, I did just mention it.
Bravo Jon Stewart, bravo to the first responders, and shame on you to Republicans!
