The same people who opposed every effort to fix the economy are now profiting from the bad economy.

Even more reason for the democrats to have stuck together.
Thank you for changing it to “Lying” instead of “laying” I have to correct my grandchildren all the time. Obama is a person.
Both parties do the exact same thing, they sway to the polls not their conscience. When Bush tried to propose immigration reform, which could have helped Repubs in the election they opposed him thinking they were saving themselves while the Dems stuck mostly together. Now the Dems are doing the same thing running from Pelosi, Reid and Obama thinking it will save them while (good or bad) the Repubs are united.
Same ole story, different election year. The Repubs will make Obama look good like they did for Clinton. Big business will join in the recovery, jobs will start to come back, the economy will come to life, debt will go down and Obama will get re-elected like Clinton. He’s probably talked to Bill and gotten the advice to not fight letting the majority slide back to the repubs. I wouldn’t doubt it. Thats politics and power not loyalty.
I feel you have not read Obama’s books. That is not where he is coming from.
