I think that blaming people who don’t look like you was part of the genesis of WWII — and a lot of wars (our 200 years of armed action against the Native Americans for example) — and well predates it. In fact, I think some of the latest neurological research indicates a biological origin, thus the strategy may have prehistoric and maybe even pre-homo sapien roots.
This is part of our species. We’ll have to wait until the next species evolves, either before or after we all die out. Our blink of an eye existence will be studied by some more advanced being. Makes you feel kinda small doesn’t it.
