Umm…when exactly has Fox ever blamed the weather on Obama? That’s more of a liberal thing to do. Remember Bush and Katrina? I’ve even seen shows about how it could have been a ‘Weather Weapon’ and Bush was testing it.
But this is a typical liberal cartoon, blatant lies with no backed up facts, just bias. I hope the kool-aid at least tastes good.
It first of all is more of a hyperbole of what hasn’t Fox New blamed on Obama. Secondly no one blamed Bush for Katrina, they just pointed out that he didn’t handle it very well.
Aid was slow and he didn’t even stop his vacation for it.
And for that last bit you do know that cults are more likely to form in conservative groups, so the kool-aid reference doesnt make much sense there. Good Day Sir
the fact that he made a public spectacle of cutting funding to the New Orleans district of the Army Corps of Engineers by over $70 million a few months before didn’t really help, either
nor did the fact that Brown admitted FEMA had no plan and their initial assessment was a pack of lies made for political purposes help his case much
nor did the fact that, as it turned out, FEMA had drawn up a report in early 2001 specifically citing the vulnerability of New Orleans to hurricanes (as well as the possibility of a terrorist attack in New York City or a earthquake in San Fran) as a disaster waiting to happen
@Steven – I assume from the kool-aid reference at the end of your post that you are willing to share your stock. Does your kool-aid begin and end with Fox News, or do you have other flavors to share with the rest of us?
🙂
Obama’s reaction to the Gulf Coast oil spill has been lackluster at best so the Katrina argument is kind of pointless.
