Not only is this very funny, it even has an element of irony since by blaming extremists, Cleese is using the same tactics of which he is accusing them.
Even though this was filmed back in the 1980’s, if anything it is even more relevant today. But it is funny to see whom British extremists considered to be the enemy back then and compare it to today. My how the pendulum swings!

Cleese is brilliant.
LOL that “moderates” end both lists. That is intensely true, probably now more than ever.
That is amazing…he sure breaks it down just right…
Truth is Timeless
Good point. May be more people need to see this… ;p
Pardon my French but is the submitter a fucking idiot? This is a comedy bit, and is done in a sarcastic tone. And exactly what “pendulum” has swung? The list of enemies for the left and right hasn’t changed. And in case you didn’t notice, it’s complementary to neither left nor right, as extremists hate moderates. And what exactly is he “blaming” extremists for that is unjustified? It’s inherent in the nature of “extremist” to be so far to one side of an issue as to be irrational and deserving of derision.
It’s a great video but clearly the commenter has no fucking idea why..
Extreme reaction there Shadow.
I just assumed that Shadow was being ironic, imitating an extremist. But don’t mind me, I’m just a fucking idiot.
Oh, and he probably meant “complimentary”.
Rofl, Shadow’s right though; it appears the OP believes Cleese’s list of the enemies of respective extremists are actually Cleese naming extremists.
Still, awesome video; and certainly still relevant
