I’m not sure whether to laugh or cry. Perfect summation of McSame’s drive to continue the failed policies and fascist state started by the retarded cowboy…

Not sure which is better, the comic or the above comment. Excellent on both counts.

Mr. Obama has lots of promises of change, but rarely goes into specifics. I guess I am not part of the liberal mind meld that seems to understand what change he means. On the other hand, the President been busy stopping the terrorist attacks upon our nations soil, while Mr. Barack Hussein Obama II has been selfishly writing his personal memoirs and running for president.

This is what a lot of people say who have never seen him speak except in ten-second soundbites. Watch Obama’s acceptance speech at the DNC and McCain’s acceptance speech at the RNC. They both have a lot of grandiose, non-specific platitudes; but Obama’s actually nailed down *more* specific policies than McCain’s. It’s time to put this “all vision, no execution” soundbite to rest because it’s simply not true.

    > I guess I am not part of the liberal mind meld that seems to understand what change he means.

But can you use a web browser? http://www.barackobama.com/issues/ is the url you want. If you don’t know what a candidate’s platform is, loudly announcing that fact just makes you seem foolish, not the candidate.

    > On the other hand, the President been busy stopping the terrorist attacks upon our nations soil,

I fail to see how forcibly occupying a sovereign nation that never attacked the united states — one that just had the misfortune of having an asshole for a leader — does anything but stir up more hatred for the united states among the people of the middle east. There’s *more* anti-american sentiment in the world than there was eight years ago, not less.

    > while Mr. Barack Hussein Obama II

    Oh, grow up.

    > has been selfishly writing his personal memoirs and running for president.

But it’s not “selfish” when John McCain writes his numerous personal memoirs and runs for president? What the hell kind of argument is that?

I wish we could get back to talking about Biden and his plagiarism. His support for the patriot act and FISA. He is also the reason that PGP was invented.

This proves that Obama is only paying lip-service to change. The climate of fear in the country will remain unchanged.

Lighten up guys! This is a humor site.

What I do find ironic are comments like from JLB that Obama “rarely goes into specifics”. This is so laughably false that you have to wonder if JLB is just a troll trying to spread disinformation. Obama has a detailed plan of tax breaks for the middle class and small businesses, McCain has more of the same from Bush. Obama has a very detailed plan for health insurance, what does McCain have?

I really have to laugh when the same people take speeches where Obama does get into detailed specifics and they turn around and accuse him of being boring and professorial.

Are there (non-trolls) who actually believe Obama hasn’t gotten specific?

Even though this may be a humor site the subject is
    both sufficiently serious and sad.

It appears to me that we have 2 unqualified people
that are running for president. What were our 2 major
    political parties thinking???

There has to be a third choice but at this point
    nothing really viable has surfaced.

  8. There’s nothing more depressing to me that those Republican clowns acting like they’re outsiders calling for change didn’t get laughed right out of town…
