		<description><![CDATA[There are up-sides and down-sides to living in California, although some are cyclic.  For instance, we aren&#039;t bombarded by the tsunami of political ads every four years because we&#039;re not a swing state.  I don&#039;t watch mainstream tv for the most part, but, so far (and cross my fingers hoping this lasts) I&#039;ve only seen one presidential ad on the tele.  Just one.  A short little number for Obama.

Now, I know that&#039;s gloating, but I truly mean no offense to those who are being subjected to the aforementioned tsunami.  My glee at not seeing ads does end when I consider the suffering of so many Americans in the swing state world.  I am sorry for your pain.]]></description>
