This is the actual absentee ballot that was sent out to voters in New York State’s Rensselaer County. I’m not sure which is worse – believing the county election officials who claim that it was a simple typo that made it past three separate proof readers (are the ‘B’ and ‘S’ keys right next to each other on their keyboards?), or not believing them, which means that it was done on purpose.

This is absurd. As the republicans grit their teeth and brace for the loss in November, it will be kind of funny to see the distances that party will go to make themselves feel better. Unfortunately we Democrats are a lot smarter than that. Obama 08
Now that McCain’s princess fairy is about to enter her “meanopause” what changes can we expect? How about a natural look, you know. no hair dye, less war-paint, shorter hair, grayer hair, normal sized body bumps in the appropriate places for a girl of 40+, contacts instead of ‘ole timey’ glasses, and a new lower more listenable voice in place of the shrill, hormone howl we get now? And to be fair to him, how about printing up a manual on how to deal with menopausal American women for Putin, and other world leaders for that matter?
There’s a duality in shame here. Either people can’t read, which means our education system is in the toilet, or people are so stubborn that they’ll do something so low as to purposely make a typo on an absentee ballot.
