The moral? People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Republicans should stop taking Michelle Obama’s remarks out of context to smear her, and instead concentrate on real issues.
UPDATE: The Jed Report has discovered that Fox News removed McCain’s words saying he didn’t love America from their transcript of the interview. Hmmm, I wonder how that happened? Good thing we still have the video.

I recall seeing a picture of Janet Reno when she was running for office in Florida. She was wearing a sylized American flag styled jacket. The story called it desacrating the flag. A few days later I saw a republican Texas woman who was running for statewide office. She was wearing the same jacket. For her it was called patriotism. If a democrats makes a comment about America it is characterized as unamerican, if a republican says the same thing it is inspiring patriotism.
